I put a lot of thought into how I celebrate Christmas. That's why I leave out all of the religious garbage and most of the commercialism.
What's left is just a traditional myth about Santa, which is fun for the kids; a few thoughtful gifts for people close to me; visiting family; and trying to be kind to those around me, especially the poor.

True. Christmas is many things to many people. To the majority it when they celebrate the birth of Christ. To others, it is a pagan thing. To each their own. But, Christmas has become too commercialized. And the focus is always put Santa and other characters. No matter the real reason why a person celebrates, a person should be focused on that, and not let advertising and the media and movies and t.v. turn it into something different for them.

Christmas to me is the celebration of Christ coming into the world. That is a good thing, because lives have been changed for the better that truly follow Him.

There needs to be lots of thought put into why(?) it's celebrated at all; For it's the annual holiday with the most lies attached to it, including the religious lie that it's about Christ: the end of the law.
You know it's Christmas when you're credit card turns into a debit card and you have to make a deposit to use it or it comes up Not Approved. Christ is about being approved, for Christ abolished the law(enmity), thereby abolished all dis-approval.

Why change something that has been celebrated in an acceptable way for so long? It wasn't until recent times that people whined about other peoples way of celebrating
