How long should i wait to have oral sex after getting a labret (lip piercing)?

I've had it for five months and my piercer said to wait a couple weeks.. but i'm still skeptical. It is healed now. I'm just a bit paranoied. I just need some advice or reassurance. thanks.

It is recommended that you wait anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks depending on where you got the piercing done but most recommend 4 to 6 weeks. The main thing is that healing should be complete before oral sex is resumed. Believe me, after 5 months, your piercing is totally healed.
