The revamped Fusion has the same engine as the 1.6liter Fiesta. While the overall weight etc are nearly the same, the fusion comes with large 15" tyres to increase ground clearance and give it that cross-over / fusion feel. This affects the fuel efficiency (and the steering response as well). So don't expect anything more than 9~10kmpl.

It is still pretty good value as a vehicle. the only other cheaper 100hp 1.6liter vehicle is the Fiat Adventure but is pretty low slung in comparison and hence cannot be compared

Ideal conditions and a 4 cyclinder 22-25 city. As much as 38 highway. Alot depends on how much weight you carry. Check ford for mpg specs on that model and engine

under more sedate conditions expect in the region of 12.5
