Can the posessed become disposessed? It is a silly hangover of a superstitious age. At the times of the writing of the bible until the late middle/early modern age, nobody understood how the brain worked. Nobody had a clue about what might cause madness. Demonic possession was the best idea that they could come up with.
If you think in those terms, then the Idea of beating the devil out of the mental patients would make perfect sense. We have learned better now. Now we can actually offer some treatments that work.

have self assurance it or not, this is basic for me to describe 'human beings like you', because i'm like you. I have self assurance you once you're saying that your thoughts received't help you've self assurance. and also you're easily not impaired. i'm also what you may want to call a fundamentalist. (besides the actual incontrovertible truth that i'm not particular they could favor to declare me). You and that i are merely 2 aspects of a similar coin. I stay interior a similar global you do. I examine or have examine a minimum of a few of a similar books you do. have self assurance it or not, I even take heavily a similar technology that you do. yet neither human beings is able to regulate our minds. How is that achievable? i have self assurance this is because we are previous our tipping factors. Gladwell argues that larg-scale social transformations are frequently led to by a constellation of smaller issues which finally reason a 'tipping' of society (or some area of it) ensuing in great scale replace. Our idea is formed further. the component is, and right here's the position it receives interesting, after the end extra info would not replace issues. in truth after the end info will consistently be interpreted to strengthen our idea in the different case be very nearly discounted. We "can't" replace our minds. Does that recommend that we are now prisoners in our own thoughts? No. because the fulcrum of our tipping element can bypass. yet, and lower back right here's the position it receives interesting, the forces which shift the fulcrum will merely about in no way be rational. The lack of life of a loved, as an celebration, may reason us to question our beleif. there is no reason to thread examples. the point is the those exterior forces may reason an basic reinterpretation of the info. the end result can be a sparkling tip-- into idea or into unbelief. Conversion, in case you'll. perhaps if extra human beings in this web site understood this stuff there might want to be a lot less acrimony and slightly extra love on demonstrate right here. God Bless

I presume that you are asking if someone is possed by the devil & not with possession of things of material matter, Yes I have known & seen people posessed, & yes they suppose to have been Christians, I am a Christian for over 36 yrs, & I have seen them, But that is not any indication that Christians is possed, That is just the devil's way of trying to put down True Christians, I had one woman one time That was possed that a man's voice spoke out of her voie, The woman one time try to put a curse on me, & I rebuked her in the Nmae Of Jesus Christ, She is dead now, & I am still alive, & NO, my rebuking did not kill her, she died yrs. later So friend don't think that just because someone claims to be a christian & that person falls into this problem that all Christians is like this, Why should satan use a sinner, He already has them, Therefore he goes to some one that may be young in the Lord & Try to cause trouble, Once a demon has been cast out of someone that demon has to live somewhere, We have the story where a demon was cast out & that demon enter into swines & the pigs could not even stand that demon, they ran & jumped off a cliff. And once a demon has been cast out & if we don't let the Holy Ghost come in, then we are subject to have 7 more evil spirits to come back & dwell in that person.

I've never met someone who was possesed, although I do know of someone who said they once met a possesed atheist. But I can tell you why if you are saved then you cannot be possesed. People who are saved have the Holy Spirit living in them. Surely the Holy Spirit and the devil cannot dwell in the same person.

I think this is a very valid question. However, much will depend on interpretation of what or who is doing the possessing. I personally, being a Spiritualist do not believe in the Devil, or Satan as some call it. This is a man made concept. There is good and bad in everyone, Christian or not, 'saved' or not. Bad spirits (those who roam the earth plane and have not returned 'home' to Heaven, or Spiritworld) do possess humans. They feed on fear and negativity. Negativity can be depression, bad thoughts etc. Can all the Christians, saved or otherwise, on here put there hands up honestly and say they have never been depressed, never had negative thoughts, never experienced fear? I thought not! And before you give me the thumbs down, I work for God and for Jesus in my spiritualist work of mediumship and as a healer. I have also helped spirits, bad or otherwise, to leave the earth plane and return to the Light.

They were of Christian Influence, but they were not Christians: They were not Saved. I have encountered Demon Possession on a few occasions, and each time it was a person involved in the Occult. One in particular was delivered with Prayer, but continued in Sin, and was not consistent with Christ, he subsequently was Possessed again, and died a few years ago.
The reason why you may not hear of Demon Possession in people of other faiths may be because they don't know what is happening. But I think many faiths believe in Possession .

LOTS of non-Christians have been reported as being possessed. Christianity has no monopoly on possession even though Hollywood might portray it as such.

How can God be possessed ?
Pangel, you state that you are a spiritualist medium of some six years.
That means that you are contacting spirits not of God, of the Devil, which God forbids. If you know this then you are seeking to deceive people. If you do not know this then you are deceived.
How can someone who seeks to deceive, or who is deceived, speak authoritatively about possession ?
In your mediumship you are temporarily "possessed." Don't believe me? Test the spirits and you will find out.
You have never heard of anyone outside of "Christianity" being possessed when you are temporarily possessed as a medium ?
You are in great darkness.
As the Bible makes clear :
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light lest his deeds should be reproved.
And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits and unto wizards that peep and mutter, should not a people seek unto their God ? should they seek for the living to the dead ?
To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light in them.
Come out of that darkness Pangel to the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. There is forgiveness even for such sins. Come to the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
May God command the light to shine.

To be honest a Christian can not be possessed any events you have heard of any Christian being possessed would be myth or the possibility that said Christian was not a Christian. Those who are saved by Christ are by faith new creatures and are spiritual beings and belong to God and can not be taken by Satan.

Well known by whom?
There are many people who call themselves "Christian' who have no idea who Christ really is. There is a spiritual "hole' in each of us, for true Christians, the Holy Spirit fills this. If God's not ion that space, then something else may enter.
