YES!!! got it happening right now... its fantastic but at the same time it sucks... to never know for sure if you two will meet... and to not be able to watch every minute of his life go by... because its all happening without you there!

I know two couples that did. One will be getting married this year.

The interenet is just another resource; and it's as useful or "productive" as you make it. It sure beats the hell out of cruising bars and such.

And no matter WHAT people say about themselves, there's always that first meeting, that first impression, where they have to bring it all together face-to-face.

That is the moment that one decides to break it off or continue.

And of course, there's those first few weeks, months of "dating" or whatever you want to call it.

People usually reveal their true personalities within that period of time; one cannot successfully maintain a "disguise" indefinitely.

But yes, the internet is as valid a resource for meeting people as any other.

I have and won't change anything about it!!! I really love this guy and is experiencing feelings that I've never had before. It just feels different this time. There is absolutely nothing wrong with falling inlove with someone you've met on the internet, and it's not about being desperate.

Yes I have and its not the easiest thing to deal with but I am giving it time to see if we could be together permenatly. The thing that really helped me was that I got to know her before I ever meet her and everytime we spend together is a great time that I have never had with anyone else.So just be careful there are wackos out there but there are lots of genuinly great people to and remember that Love has no boundries.

both my sister and a friend at work found their spouses on the internet. It is becoming more popular these days. I like the fact that people tend to spend more time getting to really know each other online before actually meeting.

Yes, I did. I met my boyfriend on the internet and I've never looked back since. There really are some genuine people out there still, just need to find them!

Enjoy.

naahzz. I only chat with my friends online, don't really tok with other people. And anyway, it won't last long. Cos i doubt it is real love. You haven't even met the person in real life. You don't know who he actually is. So how can you actually LOVE HIM?
But if you two meet, things could turn out differently. You could end up being each others partner for the rest of your lives. But there is a risk in meeting people you met online.
