If it was tea, I'd say take the spoon out of the cup. Do you drink vodka martinis with toothpicks in the olives? Or one of those drinks with an umbrella?

My aunt's eyes used to bleed, but this was something to do with her kidneys...and she never drank vodka

Hmmm....sounds scary....maybe your vessels expand (hypertension?) when drinking alcohol and you have mini breakages in them...you might want to have that checked...could be a clue there is a bigger explosion on the way if you know what I mean...

Thats really bizzare. You get bloodshot eyes, or you bleed like tears? Bloodshot is normal. Blood tears means you need medical attention asap.
