This is not an uncommon problem. The problem may be with the disc you are trying to burn onto. Use dvdr cd's specified for the burn drive. Also, cheap dvd players are notorious for not being able to play copy dvd's. Try your cd on another player.
Also try pb on your computer drive. If the problem only occurs on your dvd player, you should replace it..It pays to spend a bit more for a quality dvd player. Hope this helps.

most problems i have experienced or hear about these types of problems,most of the time its the player...im not saying that its broken by it just might have a hard time playing that certain discs...example my DVD player on my computer has a problem playing a couple of my DVDs..nothing wrong with the player or the disc..but when i play it on the outside DVD in the family room..it works fine...i couldn't really tell you what the problem is,maybe depending on how old the player is i guess,just a wild guess.
