No offence, but any diet where you limit carbs, proteins etc, is seldom going to work. Well done getting this far!

You're probably feeling hungry... because you ARE hungry!

It's okay to feel hungry. So calm down. What you did is what the rest of the world would have done on day 1 of your bizarre diet.

Cravings are natural on any diet, but don't confuse cravings with what your body is actually asking for (see the raw food forum link below for more info on cravings).

If you feel you are binging because of the pressure of the diet you are on, then come off the diet and go on a healthy vegetarian diet until your nutrionist can be contacted again. Once you can contact him, tell him the diet is unrealistic and that you need something that does not leave you feeling hungry.

Drink lots of water, lots of fruit juice. Keep exercising and maybe supplement your chicken, veg and lentil dinner with something a little more realistic- how about a vegetable Moroccan tangine style casserole with a small serving of brown rice? Or a wholemeal pitta bread with a little tahini or houmous with a big salad and mairnated tofu stuffed inside? These foods are healthy, low on carbs and more likely to fill your stomach that that random chicken and veg combo.

You can lose weight without starving yourself. It's the ones who starve themselves who have great difficulty maintaining their bodies once they finally do reach their goal.

What are you going to do at the end of this diet? If you have felt deprived now, when you get the go ahead and have less barriers, you may end up binging.

Think HEALTHY LIFESTYLE and not DIET.

Veggies + fruit + water + grains + sleep + exercise + happiness = awesome body

It sounds like your diet is not giving your body what it needs. Later on, maybe you should consider a different diet plan.
In the meantime, here are some tricks I use. Remember how parents always don't want us to eat before a meal because it will "spoil our appetites"? Well, it's true and I use that to my advantage. 15 to 20 minutes before a meal, eat something lo-cal but kind of filling like a hard boiled egg or a couple of pretzels and a small can of tomato juice. Give it a little time and your stomach will start to feel somewhat satisfied. Then when you do eat your meal, you may not need as much to feel full. When eating my meal, I try to take several sips of water or tea between bites and it helps me fill up faster.
Also, don't forget the benefits of exercise. Even 20 minutes a day of activity helps such as marching in place, running, walking, squats or whatever. Just some sort of activity for 20 minutes.
Ask your dietician about complex carbs.
Good luck to you.

Do something to take your mind of it, go out for a run a a few hours then go down to the gym for a few more. Make sure while you are out you look at all the thinner people than you to remind yourself what you could be if you dont eat! Also keep a pack of sugar free mints with you at all times so if you feel hungry you can just have a couple of them, food doesnt taste good with mints so it will put you off eating.

Eat a banana & drink a glass of water....... before u start to eat yr lunch/dinner.
U will find that u are almost full before u are thru with yr meal. Also eat some salad along with yr meal --- that way u will consume less food & feel 'full' quickly
Gd luck.

When you are dieting and exercising, you need to eat smaller portions, but more often, throughout the day. Every 3 hours or so, but not after around 7pm ...
The smaller portions , but more of them, help you to feel full after exercise. Water will absolutely help you in feeling fuller!
Use olive oil instead of any cooking oils. Oatmeal in the morning is great for making you feel full.
Dont skip breakfast - its what gets your body going !!!

If you have been on a low carb low fat diet for that long and have only lost what you lost then that is not the diet for you. Just eat healthy which will have less restrictions.

First of all cut out the carbs immediately. Carbohydrates are digested faster than proteins so you feel hungry faster. Second of all, you say you cannot control yourself and you are only making excuses for over eating. Everyone (unless you are mentally ill) has free choice and can control themselves. You control yourself just like everyone else does ("Just Do It" and "Just Say No").

go do something that will make you stop thinking about it. Go somewhere and leave your money at home so you can't buy food. Go for a drive, shopping (if anything is open in your city today),exercise.
