Yes or no, why or why not.

Please don't answer if you already answered these questions. This is a running survey. Thanks!

1. Are you concerned about depleting the planet of fossil fuels and the connected problems of pollution, environmental degradation, resource wars, etc?
2. Is switching to a renewable source of power for your home in your plans within the next 5 years?
3. Would you switch to solar power (PV panels) if you didn't have to pay any more than what you now pay for electricity and you had no investment, installation or maintenance cost?

1 Yes,
Fossil/fuel depletion won't be a problem till I die but it wld pose a big threat for the coming future generations.Pollution has given rise to health hazards and I want to live long!!!!!!!!!!!

2 Don't know.

That seems to be a very ideal choice.
Will really help solve a lot of problems.
but that seems to be a remote possibility especially in country like India where I live .It will take a lot to convince people here and individual expenditure is something middle class people cannot afford. Its possible only on public/joint venture which will take time.

3.That wld solve all the problems!!!!!!In such case both my 2 and 3 will also be Yes.

1. NO there are too many untapped coal and gas sources for me to worry about fossil fuel depletion.

2. NO not unless the dream world conditions of question #3 are met.

3. YES I'm actually an enthusiasitc supporter of PV cells because you can be pretty independent of the utilities who can't even keep their pole mounted fuses from popping 2 or 3 times a year. PLUS .....PV cells would remind everyone the hard way that SOLAR POWER SHUTS DOWN AFTER SUNSET. lolol

1. Not so much worried about depleating fossil fuels. My understanding is that there is quite a large supply (coal, natural gas and oil). Access and distribution are the problems. I am VERY concerned avout the environmental impact of burning all that fossil fuel...Put me down as YES.
2. No. Because I don't have the infrastructure to support it.
3. No...not enough sun here on the shores of the Great Lakes, but I would consider wind, even if it cost more.

Sorry if these answers are wishy-washy!

1. No In the future if you are making a serious survey don't load the question with emtionally charge words.

2. Don't know where I will be in 5 years but if I am in a home I will do my best to lower my electric bill.

3. I would add solar panels because they make sense and the return is better good.

Yes very much so, but our biggest problem here (Australia) is lack of water.

If I could yes, our house supposed to be a green house rating, which is supposed to use less green house fuels, which cost a little more each month.

Most definitely would change over to solar power, after all we have plenty of sun here.
