After 6 months you should not be having tremors. Those usually occur within the first several weeks or starting it.
It is very possible your lithium levels in your body are to high. Drink A LOT of water, and call your Dr ASAP and get your levels checked.

Shakiness is one of the known side effects of lithium. You should mention it to your doc. Also, it's important to have regular blood tests to check the level of lithium in your system.

I was on Lithium for 6 years, until I had a toxic reaction to it. I had to go to the Emergency Dept. I was shaking, my blood pressure went through the roof, couldn't form words, it was scary. You can get very ill very quickly, please seek medical advice as soon as possible. Trust me.

There are many newer mood stabilizers on the market that have fewer side effects than lithium. You need to see your doc right away, and always should if you are having side effects.
