The only punishment that willfully wicked people receive from God is that they will instantly be put out of existance without torture or pain, and they will have no hope of a resurrection. Satan and his demons will also receive the same fate.
Hell is not a place of eternal torment like Christendom teaches. The Bible hell is where all people go when they die. It is the common grave.
How do we know that hell is the grave? Well, we can read many verses in God's Word that assures us of that fact. Here are but a few:
Psalm 139:8--"If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there." (If hell is a fiery, hot place of torture, would David think God (Psalms 83:18) would be there ?)
Amos 9:2--"Though they dig into hell, From there My hand shall take them; Though they climb up to heaven, From there I will bring them down." ( Can you dig into fire? No, but you can dig into the earth and God can find you no matter where you try to hide.)
Jonah 2:2--"And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice." ( The belly of the fish would have been Jonah's grave, if God had not rescued him.)
Ecclesiates 3:19,20--"For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again."
( Humans and animals go to the same place when they die)
Revelation 1:18--"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." (Why would Jesus need keys to hell? Because the dead do not have to stay in hell forever; they can be resurrected back to life.)
Revelation 20:13-14--"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." (Hell delivers up the dead, meaning a resurrection from the grave), and what happens to death & hell? They are thrown into the lake of fire, meaning total destruction. Our creator is a God of love and justice and he tortures no one.

The Bible uses Tuff Love. Because if we knew the Forgiving nature of God. Everybody would act a fool, and never progress on the spiritul level.
We created death and hell with our misuse of our free will. Revelation says at some point, God will destroy death and hell.
The Lake of Fire is an aspect of Creation. A Cosmic
Recycler you might say. And those who choose
to be destructive toward others, will be cut off from us, and left to try and survive in these lower realities.
The Word mentions the second death, or death of the spirit. Like I said, if we knew the truth, we would get idiot attitudes like if we're going to die anyway, why worry. But it doesn't go down like that! Our spirit has a will to survive,
and it might seem like a million years before we give it up!
And it ain't pretty.
God is not mocked. And we reap what we sow.

Saddam was responsible for killing nearly half a million.
God puts no one in hell. God gives people a chance to chose if they accept forgiveness of sins while they are alive. People who go to hell go because they chose to reject God and died in their sins. God loves people. God hates sin.

I can't believe in a God who would send people to Hell ? !
Hell was originally created for Satan and his angels. In the future it will contain those who join Satan in rejecting God. If you reject God's provision for the forgiveness of your sins, then you will join the Devil who rejected God from the beginning. Is that what you want?
Could you believe in a God who would become a human, suffer at the hands of humans, and be killed by them, all so that His death could be the payment for their sins? That is extremely loving. God is saving people who deserve to go to Hell - and we all deserve that. Remember that the same God that sends people to Hell also died for them. If they reject what God has provided, then what is God left to do? He would have to judge them.
Whether you believe in something or not does not change the fact of its existence. Jesus spoke often of Hell (Matt. 25:41-46; Mark 9:47-48; Luke 16:19-31), and warned us so we would not go there. Would you say Jesus didn't know what He was talking about?
Are you implying that it is unjust for God to send people to hell? If so, then you accuse God of injustice. Sin is wrong and it must be punished. What would you have God do to those who oppose Him and do evil? Do you want Him to ignore that which is wrong? Do you want Him to turn His head and not be holy and righteous?

He killed many, many more than that and you know it. Hanging was too merciful for him. They should have fed him feet first into a tree chipper like he did some of his victims.
He's dead. Get over it.

The Christian church has many faults, which many people cannot see, because of blind faith.
He was punished for what he did, can we please leave it at that?
