I went to the Lancashire Agriculture Show, this past year. To be honest I didn't buy any produce. But there was some show jumping, and showing. A hunting demonstration. Lumber Jack demonstration, The animal tents, with all the local prize animals, and a petting zoo type thing for the kids. Alot of SUV stalls, like Nissan, Land Rover etc. There is a bit of a farm style market, for horse gear, pet stuff, etc. I only went the one day though, so I probably missed some stuff.

I have never been to the Lancashire Agricultural Show but have been to several others and they are all run on the same lines. You have display tents from various clubs and tents where local produce is sold ie: jams, honey, ice-cream, fruit etc. also there are many craft stalls. The main object of the show is however the showing of cattle etc and the show jumping and other competitions for horses and dogs. They normally have a sheep dog trial exhibition and many other attractions. There is also a lot of agricultural machinery on view ready to purchase. They are great to visit but after a couple of years I find that you need a break and then go back again when things have been refreshed a bit. Hope this is informative. Enjoy the show!

Think you will find an opportunity to show your produce at an agriculture show in the UK. Vegetables or stock. Trade stands are usually available but are quite expensive. If would want to sell organic vegetables, homemade cheese or such things would think a farmers market is what you are looking for.
