In English, an Italian "pratolino" is called a daisy. Daisies belong to a family called the Asteraceae (Compositae). A daisy is not a single flower but hundreds? of flowers of one of two forms: disk (fertile) or ray (sterile) flowers. There are a few species from this family that form shrubby trees, but most, including daisies, are small herbaceous plants.
