i don't think he likes that your giving your attention to something else. my cat jumps on my desk and sits as close to my keyboard and mouse as he can before i get him down then he just stands there looking at me w/ those pretty lil' eyes. i feel bad cause he's always so super sweet sometimes i get off and hang out w/ him. i'm sure he just wants to hang out ur his best buddy.

First thing he thinks when he sees your feet dangling there is to attack. They probably frighten him (not saying this in an offensive way).
Make sure you giving him enough attention. He may be doing this as a sign he wants to play.
If you are giving him a lot of attention, then he may be hungry. Also wear shoes so it won't hurt.
When he starts attacking move your feet to where he can't reach them and he will soon wonder off.

The cat is just playing w/ u. Just where shoes or something to cover your toes, then the cat will eventually get boredand go somewhere else.

Stop wiggling your toes! Invite the cat up onto your lap instead, it sounds like it wants attention.

Yes because to him your feet probably look like they are hanging there so the first thought that comes to his mind is attack.

Don't worry. It's normal cat behavior. My kitten Fauna who just turned 5 months old, does it all the time.
