No offense to all Muslims or anything, but seriously, this website for example- you hear more people making fun of, questioning and criticizing Christians than you do Islam. People criticize Christians for being judgemental as if many Muslims aren't judgemental. Give me a break. Maybe Christians are just bigger doormats because we don't threaten people with bombs and mass killings. Granted there are plenty of American Christians that are judgemental, are they judgemental to the same extent as radical Muslims are? People really seem to abuse their free speech don't they? Try moving to the Middle East and you tell me who's judgemental and repressed. You live in the most liberal country in the world so quit your complaining about American "conservatism".

I think it is because there are lots of muslims here on YA. I do not like the terrorist attitude of the muslims. I do not like they way they want deat to Christians, or any other faith for that matter.

I engage in friendly debate with Christians and I make commenst to make them think. My hope is that I might change just one person for the better. I do not do this with muslims, because in my opinion, and this is just my opinion, they will never change, so why bother?

Some Chrsitains can be dangerous. My dad was a good Pentecostal and he threatened to shoot me many times, and I was a Christian at the time, jut not Pentecostal. I have had Pentecostal preacher to sabatauge my machine behind my back and then when it took me a long time to figure out why it would not work, he went to the boss and tried to get me fired.

I have been threatened and attacked by different Christians, and this was when I was Christian.

However I do realized these were just individuals who went too far and as a whole Christianity is not violent. Islam can be though.

I also do not know that much about the muslim faith and mybe others don't either, so that could be part of the reason.

I don't live in the most liberal country in the world, that's bullshit. Actually I live in Australia, but the US isn't the most liberal country in the world either, and I'd like to hear the breadth of research you're basing that on.
Anyway, people criticise Christians more than Muslims in the western world because there are more Christians than Muslims in the western world. For most Americans, and most Australians, Christianity is the religion they have the most contact with and the most knowledge of.
And Christians do threaten people with bombs. It wasn't Muslims who invaded Iraq, was it?

Well, we live in a free country and there are more Christians here than Muslims so we are subject to more criticizsm and ridicule. But it's safe to say that people in Muslim countries are afraid to criticize and redicule the dominant religion there.
I think tigerwren has her priorities mixed up.

Have you noticed the Christians who bomb abortion clinics, bomb government buildings, see what the Basques do in Spain, the killing in Northern Ireland, and I could go on and on. Why don't you take note of this when making your list?

And, why do we criticize these holier than thou Christians? They are the only ones yelling about people who do not believe as they do are damned and going to hell, etc.,. I have no patience with them at all.

~Too many people have this crazy idea that Chritians are supposed to be perfect, but they are not, they're human just like the rest. Christians follow the bible as closely as possible, but that doesn't mean they are perfect.

Christians have a worse name now because of GWB, he says he's a Christian, so mindless Christians followed him like sheep, now look at the mess we're in. You still have to think for yourself, not everything the pastor tells you.

God gave us free will to think for ourselves, the sooner more people realize that, the less problems we'll have.~

The Apostle Paul said we are not to wonder about the fiery trial we will go through. Christians will be beaten and
put to death before it's all over. Our critics think it's funny
while they mindlessly add to the hatred that will bring
this about. But the attack on Chritianity is only a
ploy to destroy faith in One God completely. Judaism and
Islam will be next in line. And all independent thought
will be destroyed. People will do what they're told, and
become Devil worshippers, or they will be killed.
They won't be laughing so loud then!

I don't worry about a suicide bomber blowing up my bus on the way to work. I do worry about these christians standing on street corner holding signs that say "Jesus is Lord", causing a accident because all these drivers are racing to the corner to honk at them. And for what? All they do is make the people in the neighborhood who are the non-believers they want to convert because they work nights and sleep days and all they hear is this honking. Suicide bombings I understand. I don't sympathize but I understand. Standing in the freezing cold to annoy people, now that's crazy.

radical Muslim or radical christian, it doesn't matter to me... both suck. I think your right that people do stand up to the christian right more then other religions, this could be for many reasons, for example a lot of people who criticize the christian right also identify as Christians, perhaps this makes them feel its okay, maybe they feel they are more at risk from the christian fanatics they see everyday then the Islamic fanatics they here about on the news everyday.
