Why do i always have to be the just friend?

I am a real tomboy, almost half of my friends are guys, and I am ok with that. But it sucks when I really like a guy but he just wants to be friends.

Well, maybe you need to be more feminine at times. Guys may think that you're a dyke, really a bloke or just not interested in girl things. When I was young, I had a lot of friends that were girls and unintentionally they gave me the greatest insult any girl could give a guy, they thought of me as a big brother. But as it turned out, I met a tomboy like yourself and one thing led to another and we became lovers, she still rates very highly with me. We never fell in love with each other and I'm happy to report that both of us eventually found our true loves.

hey cici. about the bloke that you like, is he in your circle? cos yeah. that is a bummer. but i suppose your experience is quite the same as when, say, my female best friend suddenly being in love with me. PROLLY your male mate is more comfortable hanging out with you as his mate, and for now it causes him discomfort to know that you like him more than just a friend. well, ask yourself: how would you feel if one of the blokes in your group told you that he likes you? what would you do?

let things cool off first and give him time to think about what you said, if you have already said it cos he might be a bit overwhelmed or something. if after giving him an ample amount of time to think about it and he still says, "let's just be mates", he really isn't interested. move on.

but if you mean blokes in general, well, in that case we have the same problem lol, only with the opposite sex. i have more female than male friends, and them chicks tend to only confide in me rather than anything else! and i think it's quite weird that i'm finding it hard to have a gf considering that i know a fair amount of info about the ladies, cos my female mates just keep on blabbing stuff about them to me, so i should know lol. so yeah, i feel your pain!

Maybe the guys you like do not know that you like them, and think you just want to be friends. Don't compromise who you are, but try showing that you like the guy the next time that you do.
