Mine are all dead, so I don't call them anything. However, there is a town near me called Dragonsville and I reckon that's where all mother-in-laws come from!

I call them by their first names. No need to be formal with Mr. and Mrs.

They asked me to, and I do sometimes (very, very quietly, lol) but it is really something that takes time, so sometimes I don't end up calling them anything, lol. I just had a baby so I actually find calling them Grandma and Grampy to be easier.
Then again, my husband calls my parents by their 1st names - they aren't as warm and open to new people, lol.
See what they think - a lot of parents will mention it themselves - especially the mothers. It might feel awkward at first, but it will grow on you eventually.

Thats really up to YOU to decide. But if you're close to your in laws you can call them Mom/Dad... but if you don't feel too comfortable doing that call them by their first name!

I call my mother in law bu her first name, I have a mum and I don't feel comfortable calling her mum also. However, if I am writing a card from both me and my fiance, I always write "Dear Mum"

I call them by their first names, but you could always ask what they would prefer to be called. My friend calls hers Millie and Phil... for MIL and FIL (mom in law, father in law). I thought that was cute.
