I sincerely believe that we are living in the last days, litteraly. With so much more persecution of Christians, global warming which is getting really bad, in Australia we are below 40% water in the dams, and getting worse, Nuclear Weapons are now becoming the mail thing in this world, Israel is on the brink of a major war with Iran, Russia and the Arab world, more crime etc. Do you like me feel that this world is not the same anymore and is so stale it is not funny? To me it is so stale, that it may as well not exist. Do you feel there is nothing in the world anymore that makes you happy. The world is changing so fast. I am ready to go home as soon as Jesus returns, I am telling you I have my bag packed. I am being honest, this world is getting too unbearable to live in. Christians, do you feel the same. This world is getting more depresive by the day. And I am not just saying it, and I believe Jesus will come to take us home soon, and we might now have to taste death. Awsome.

don't forget we are of the light, and the world loves this world and is of darkness. Darkness and light do not go together. The world see no problem with it, because they are already in darkness and they belong to Satan, and since we are children of the most high, we are in light, and we are in this world but not part of it. So being a child of God and being light, being in this dark world has an effect on me, how about you.?

I am a Christian, but for me the world is not stale. Every morning when I awake, I see the world as new again. It is up to me to make life fresh and fruitful. Of course, horrible things are happening all over the world. My dear, do not despair. My husband was brutally murdered by terrorists two years ago, and yet I cannot despair; I cannot let anger or sadness rule my life. If I did so, I would let evil win.The smallest things can make me happy now. A call from a friend. A kiss from a child. A smile from a stranger. The sun shining on the sea in the foreign city I have chosen to be my home. Observe God's glories and rise above the foolishness of human fraility.
Don't try to second-guess the Supreme Being. Unpack your bag. Start living instead of waiting to die. Look up, not down. Sing your favorite song. Do a good deed or two -- there are so many that need to be done. Visit a lonely soul in a nursing home. Say thank you to the unhappy clerk at the supermarket. Don't make the burden of Christ any heavier by bemoaning your woes. Instead, be like David and dance with joy before the Lord. And don't worry about the taste of death. We all die; death is the consequence of living. It's what we do between the moments of birth and death that make the difference. Who knows, some small act of kindness on your part might change the world. God bless.

!!!!!!!!

Such a bad attitude.

Get off your backside. Do some charity work. Help the old, the homeless, those in need. Do you expect us to all continue draining the world of its resources and turning our back of those who need us and that everything was going to turn out okay!?

1) Stop being such a pessimist

2) You mention global warming. What bit do you do to help? Are you a vegan? A campaigner for Greenpeace? Do you switch off every last piece of electricity when you're not using it? Have you stopped using a car? Stopped travelling by plane? Boycotted plastic? Cut down your use of the television?

3) Yes, there is a lot of conflict in the world, so what do you do? Do you attend demos against the war in Iraq? Do you go into your local Muslim communities to see what you can do, as a Westerner, that can help ease tensions?

"Do you feel there is nothing in the world anymore that makes you happy. "

If you cannot understand the nature of love or bliss now, then you probably wont in death. Just because the world is at unrest, it doesn't mean you have to stop loving your fellow man/woman/creature. It doesn't mean you have to stop being a good person.

A positive change starts with you. Why do you expect the rest of the world to be perfect when all you can do is some on here and praise the end times? If the end of the world does happen, a lot of people will suffer, will be in agony. How un-Christian of you.

If you are a Christian, you will follow Jesus's message and DO something good to help the world help itself. To do otherwise, is to represent the selfish, dark side of human nature that Jesus DID NOT represent.

The world as the creation of God is brilliant and fascinating. The world as the dominion of fallen humanity is a sinking ship. But this world is not your home if you are a child of God. So you shouldn't feel content here. If you believe the Bible, then you should know that things are going to get worse and worse until the end. Christians are here as ambassadors of Heaven, not full fledged citizens. The thing is to let the love of God shine through you wherever you are.

As for the great apostasy, or the falling away that will come in the last days, that is clearly demonstrated in the health and wealth gospels of Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, Paula White, etc.

I also believe we are in the end days but so have Christians ever since Christ ascended to heaven and the bible says he will come like a thief in the night when no man thinketh. So who really knows besides him? Regardless it is in these trying the we most shine as a beckon of hope and help all that we can. Jesus is the light and even though this world truly is stale we must let his light shine through us helping bring the lost home before its to late.

Please do not loose hope in world just yet there is still much good that can be done.

May God bless you my friend

This is actually quite common amongst christians and has been for centuries. Christianity spreads hopelessness in this life through hope in the next life. So the world looks 'stale'. This is common in other religions also. Thats why religion must go now. People are out growing its usefullness.
I know you actually believe christianity to be true. but its not. thats why you have to always look in the bible for answers pertaining to christianity, because you cant derive them from life.
I use to feel the same as you. My friend who is still christian says exactly the same. This world is like 'living in a garbage can' compared to heaven.
Its a lie, designed to rob you of your life.
Its the carrot before the donkey trick. the "dont worry, in the end you will get a mansion, streets paved with gold, and no one ever cries there and you will live happily ever after"
Its to keep you from focusing on what is being done to you. Even Jesus says "The evil one comes to steal and destroy, but Jesus comes that you might have life".
Choose life buddy. Put your cross down
Where do you think Satan was hiding all this time in history? In your religion and many others. Running them.

The earth is like a cancer patient, untreatable and getting sicker by the day because of the sins and folly of men who think they can manage things without God. I append the following scriptures to show you that we can still live the abundant life Jesus promised us however bad the world may become because God's words apply forever:

Isaiah 60:1,2 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen over you.

Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation (soteria – deliverance, preservation, safety, salvation) through our Lord Jesus Christ

1 Thessalonians 1:10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

1 John 2:17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever

1 John 5:4,5 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

As you can see from these scriptures where darkness and sins abound God's light and grace abound even more. We are saved from God's wrath or judgement and are delivered, preserved and saved forever. We who believe in Jesus are overcomers in this dark world and will abide forever as we do the will of God. We will live life more abundantly in this world for as the world grows from bad to worse God's light will shine brighter and grace will be poured out on us even more. Christians will be more victorious as the world goes dowm the drain! These are great times for Christians who are transformed to be more and more like Jesus

You know, I hate to break it to you but things are going to get much worse than they are now.

I do think we are living in the end times, but there are still prophesies in the bible that have yet to be fulfilled.

As for Christians being persecuted, the President of the most powerful nation on earth is a self-professing Christian. That's not exactly oppression. In the last days, we are not going to be able to utter the name Christ without losing our life. I dont look forward to it, but yep, it'll be much, much worse than it is now.

The world is not stale. You are! Get away from the negativity man - there has never been a better time to be alive and be a Christian. Ask God to light your fire again - when you first got saved you were on cloud nine - you need that fire back!

When Jesus saw jerusalem, He wept over it - He knew their fate only 70 years later, yet HE WEPT.
If I were you, I would unpack my stale little bag and weep. Jesus WILL come, but not before a great falling away (from the church); if you are not on your face seeking HIM and his mercy toward your unsaved neighbor, your "stale state" might just dry up and get blown away.
