To your dog, you are are "Alpha-dog" and he is only excited to play, or happy to know that you are around. As Max Eastman says, "Dogs laugh, but they laugh with their tails." If your dog wags his tail whenever he sees you, take this as a good sign.

yeah, that's normal. some dogs are one person dogs, and are especially attatched to only one person. also, he may feel as if you are the dominant person in the household, and may respect you. A dog is never mean to the dominant person, and goes out of his way to be good to the dominant human. I guess ur like the leader of the pack!

Your dog is showing loyalty to it's owner....... i would have thought it would have wagged it's tail at other people to show them affection...either you have a shy dog or a very complacent dog who just keeps itself to itself.
At least it shows it love for you.....awwwwwwww!!!

this is not normal. i advise you to seek out a dog psychiatrist immediately. tail-wagging is a sign that he wants you to put clothing on him, which may indicate a deeper self-image problem or a dissociative disorder, or disorder stemming from his being uncomfortable or confused about his own identity, which he may have formed as a short-term adaptive strategy in response to a deep-seeded psychiatric problem, but which cannot be neglected or it will get worse.
of course that's normal, goofball!!!!!

if you dont realise a dog wags its tail when its happy, you shouldn't have a dog..........in fact I would doubt if your fit to be responsible for any living thing

Hehe! of course its normal!! he loves you more! you might be the one that feeds him and plays with him and he loves you for it! =) he might not know anyone else. also, dogs sense people and if your happy and relaxed he will come to you, if other people arent-he might stay away and feel "wary" dont worry. your his best friend!
