.Congrats, & thanks,
ibkhandel,
yes, vedas are and
modern scientists are trying to link with it
and where they failed it's their inability.
i've one example,
Everybody knows the speed of light is 186,000 miles which is actually discovered in 1675 by ROMAR.
But the hymn 1.50 of the Rigveda on the Sun, says
[O Sun] you who traverse 2,202 yojanas in half a nimesa. The usual meaning of yojana is about 9 miles as in the Artha´saastra and for nimisha.
The measures of time are thus defined in the Puranas:
15 nimesa = 1 kastha
30kastha= 1 kala
30 kala = 1 muhurta
30 muhurta = 1 day-and-night
A nimesa is therefore equal to 16/75 seconds. It does come very close to the correct figure of 186,000 miles per second.”
so u can trust ..........

Yes they are authentic source. The Veda means "knowingness" or sacred lore.
There is a great body of work comprising the Veda, the Dhyantic and Buddhistic written tradition. Very, very little has arrived in the Western World. Only a small amount has been translated.
There are something like 125,000 to 150,000 volumes.
The Veda is best read in a literal translation from the Sanskrit.
Otherwise alteration and interpretation enter into the source which makes it no longer authentic.

Vedas were authentic once upon a time when they were revealed. But later man has changed the contents to suit his personal needs. This can be understood when we go deep into vedas. But still Vedas have some of the original true messages. Like Islamic Monotheism, God's Omni Potence are stressed with utmost importance in vedas but are totally ignored by the followers of the Vedas. Anyone claiming to be the follower of Vedas should first read it line by line. When we say something proof should be given or at least tell a method which will lead to the proof. When muslims say Quran is an Authentic source, not every one has read it & understood it line by line. But we know how to prove it. Hence we challenge (Quran itself challenges everyone) to read & find fault with it. Similarly when we say Vedas is authentic or corrupted we have to give the proofs.

It is believed that humans did not compose the revered compositions of the Vedas, which were handed down through generations by the word of mouth from time immemorial. The general assumption is that the Vedic hymns were either taught by God to the sages or that they were revealed themselves to the sages who were the seers or “mantradrasta” of the hymns. The Vedas were mainly compiled by Vyasa Krishna Dwaipayana around the time of Lord Krishna.
the Vedas are considered the most authentic of the Hindu Scriptures and the real foundations of the Hindu Dharma.

I think so. I'm not saying that they flew around in spce ships or anything, but the Vedas are certainly familiar with astronomical phenomena that were not supposed to have been discovered until much later.
I also believe that the Vedas contain important information about the foundation of Indo-European religion, including the ideas that were later incorporated into Christianity.

They are very much authentic. These are scriptures written and preserved and still available. Research work on the vedas have taken place and will continue to take place. The interpretations are also so wide and authentic. Research work has not jsut been conducted by scholars in India but abroad too. Mainly Germany, if I am not mistaken.

The fourth veda is the Atharvaveda. The which technique of the note Atharveda (A+tharva) is a with out flow or concentration. The note Tharva ability fickleness or flow and accordingly the note "Atharva" means that that's unwavering, targeted or unchanging. The note "Atharva" therefore refers to neutrality of personality. The Atharvaveda speaks more desirable about Yoga, the human body structure, different ailments, social structure, spirituality, appreciation of organic attractiveness, nationwide faith etc. this information is useful and is nicely worth bringing in use. The Atharvaveda is a fusion of prose and poetry mutually. countless information concerning to Ayurveda are considered right here, that's why Ayurveda is seen to be the Upaveda (Sub-Veda) of this Veda.

the 4 Vedas were compiled by Vyasa after the great deluge which wiped out Kumari Kandam...they were originally only one volume known as 'Pranava Veda'....remember 'Vyasa' means 'to split....
Pranava veda is actually the most authentic and was written in a technical language which was partly mistranslated by Vyasa as he was a Brahmin and did not understand the technical nature of the language...

Yes, because many Hindu gurus have accomplished wonderful enlightment by reading and applyying the sacred verses from there. No scientists today can reach the spiritual scale of those gurus.
