I am from the UK .There is more sympathy here for the Iraqi people but quite a lot still think the way the majority of Americans seem to think .What surprises me is how many Americans think Iraqis were radical islamists .to say that America is a very Christian country compared to the UK and we always hear about the right to life campaigns i find it hypocritical that they appear so uncaring about the hundreds of thousands being killed there in their name including the countless children that have been killed and maimed .They also don`t seem to understand that many many Iraqis were not even Muslim anyway (not that it makes a difference to me )There were over a million Christians there .How do these devoutly Christian people reconcile the fact that they are condoning the murder of countless Iraqi Christians with their faith..and still be so sure they are "saved".

Who has killed the most civilians in Iraq, the American troops, or car bombs and IED's set by the insurgency? Shouldn't we try and stop the insurgents from killing as many innocents as we can? Hard to do that from home don't you think? You think the insurgency is only active because we are there? Then you must disagree with the assertion that there is a civil war going on over there right? Use common sense and the answers become clear.
We are there trying to stop the slide into all out civil war, where many many more innocents will die, children included.

It's not the U.S. government that's constantly advertising it every time an American soldier gets killed its the media. Why don't you call CNN, MSNBC, the BBC, etc and ask THEM why they aren't running a daily total. Why has the American military stayed so long? Ummm, maybe because THE AMERICANS ARE THE ONLY THING KEEPING THE COUNTRY FROM TOTALLY IMPLODING! I never heard a single U.S. soldier promise anyone that they were heading over to secure Iraq's oil for the U.S. population. What treaties??? You're a very confused and ignorant individual.

You have to understand the American people want to be out of there as much as you want them out. It's governments that wage war all over the world. Parents do not want their children used a fodder for the greed of others. When terrorists destroyed the twin towers and killed almost 3000 innocent men women and children , it unleashed more evil into the world. Terrorists must be stopped and all people must rise up against them in their own countries. Why would terrorists bomb their own people and innocent people all over the world? What hate are they spreading? All sane people want to live in peace.

The Americans are NOT after oil. We were attacked and we protected ourselves. If Saddam and his sons were not removed there is no telling what horrors they would have concocted. Same goes for Bin Laden.
And a friend of mine was there when Muslim insurgents killed 18 children trying to get at the American troop. Don't tell me Americans kill children only. It's the godless insurgents who do. Allah is not real.

The strategic objective of a democratic Iraq accomodating the worries of each of the significant ethnic and non secular communities is as valid as ever. it truly is a deep and intensely lengthy-decision frame of mind, making existence extra troublesome for human beings in Afghanistan, Iran, and Syria to do us damage, pressuring the governments to diminish their help for terrorist communities. It also has implications for inner Saudi politics. The crap about terror cells in Iraq, WMD's and different secondary helping arguments change into in no way the point, so arguments about those are and consistently were beside the point. I bear in mind transferring right into a relatives argument in this challenge even as all of it began. once there, we've a tiger by the tail and dare not enable bypass. not really is the frame of mind nevertheless valid, and premature withdrawal injurious to our nationwide delight; from a in undemanding words sensible protection stress standpoint, a scuffling with withdrawal is the most confusing and unsafe maneuver in conflict, and the continuation is in all likelihood to have fewer casualties than a withdrawal. we've easily performed quite plenty, and inspite of the ongoing challenge in getting the factions to have self assurance, cooperate and compromise, even the Iraqi political challenge is way more desirable from some months in the past, inspite of the indisputable fact that it truly is extra on an area element than a nationwide one (and which is also looked upon as a strong component). "homicide" isn't ideal. infantrymen die. truth of existence. And a "reason that change into not there to commence with" is a baffling word. Extending arguments to that degree is like saying we fought the eastern in WW II to guard the Dutch oil fields. sure, we'd want to moved the Pacific Fleet to Pearl Harbor for precisely that reason, and likely, our oil embargo compelled them into their attack, yet I wager you'll locate your older relatives imagine of the argument in diverse words. And all of this comes from a guy who wasn't that overjoyed about the warfare to commence with! i'm not a Bush apologist; i'm merely inquiring for a sturdy diagnosis Oh, and Clinton might want to placed his wanker anyplace he needed. The objection change into to perjury, a legal in all of us's e book.

All I know is that it's sad that anyone is dying. It's sad that thousands of people died in America in the twin towers and it's sad that people are dying in the Middle East. All life is precious.
Someone said "they flew planes into the twin towers", you can't blame a whole country for the actions of a bunch of terrorists.
Personally, I think bush should be the next dictator to be tried for war crimes.
One more thing, Iraq didn't fly anything into the twin towers like someone else said.
EDIT - yeah, thumb down anyone that expresses a valid opinion. Grow up.
