Hello,
I personally take Lyrica myself for my back pain. I don't have any problems like what your stating. i would of given you the same info that you have already recieved but i would like to add one real important thing that a lot of people fell to do that could very well help your mother the most. Call your pharmacy up that has all her meds on file.Ask to talk to the head pharmacist and tell him what's going on. Your mother may be getting a reaction from Lyrica and another drug that is causing the problem. The important thing here is to understand that a pharmacist knows a lot more then your regular doctor knows when it comes to drugs. It's what they specialize in! The pharmacist also may have already ran into the same exact problem with another person and can instruct you what to do through your doctor. I hope this extra info helps you, Good luck. Prowler273

Lyrica is NOT for everyone. It does cause swelling in the limbs and it can also cause severe tremors.
Lyrica may not be a good drug of choice for your mom if she is experiencing this sort of thing.
Call the doctor and make sure he is aware. If he wants to take her off of the medication, BE SURE THAT HE WEANS HER OFF and doesn't stop the Lyrica abruptly. Lyrica needs to be decreased slowly over a period of time. During this time, another type of pain med should be introduced. Even something for anxiety if need be.
I've given lyrica out to patients as a nurse and have seen some really weird reactions to it, so what I am telling you if from experience of administering this medication. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Contact your physician and tell him about your symptoms. Your mother is having a reactio or experiencing side effects of the medication.

Like other medicines, LYRICA may cause side effects, especially when you start treatment.

In clinical trials, the most common side effects were:

* Dizziness
* Sleepiness
* Dry mouth
* Swelling of hands and feet
* Blurry vision
* Weight gain
* Trouble concentrating

These side effects are often mild to moderate. Few people in clinical trials stopped taking LYRICA because of the side effects.

Be careful about taking LYRICA with alcohol or with medicines that may make you dizzy or sleepy. You should not drive a car or work with machines until you know how LYRICA affects you.

Lyrica not always cause such problems. Sometimes it is due to your own mistakes like contrindication with other medications. Buy Lyrica 150mg from yourmeds247 at discounted prices.
