The Sunnies have an edge over the Shia ever since Muhammad died. Saddam's death is only one of the many events marked by killing and counter killing. Bush took full advantage of the situation and got one of his personal targets brutally executed. But the whole world has been watching the fun because the USA has sacrificed 3000 of its precious lives for such a tinsel award.

No - it hasn't and it won't.
Especially as the unofficial video of Saddam's death shows him being taunted by a supporter of the Shia cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.
There have been car bombs and other murders since the execution so nothing much seems to have changed.

In truth, just about no one imagines this tawdry execution will diminish the violence in Iraq. On the contrary, it will increase manifold. Ominously, the latest communique from the Iraqi resistance said the execution would be met with swift and terrible vengeance, exacted "everywhere".

A lecturer said it only takes 10% of the people to get something changed. Whatever happens don't give up any more rights no matter how needed the reason is.

at the moment no,cause saddam's supporter will seek revenge and it could be making things worse but after a while things may start to cool off but it may take years for that to happen and for iraq to become a country again.

No. It will probably take something of greater impact such as the Easter Bunny taking a hand in negotiations.

No. His death is no way connected to its origin. Hence, it will continue as before.
