Take 2 bottles.Fill one with boiled water(boiled for 10-20 minutes) and other with ordinary water.Put a fresh iron nail in each bottles and close the bottles.Keep them undisturbed for 6-7 days.

Will the iron nail of both of the bottles be rusted? Why?
What are the causes of rusting of iron?
How can we prevent rusting?

rusting of iron takes place under2 conditions.firstly there should be moisture which u r providing and secondly, oxygen or air, since both the cases fulfil the conditins.hence rusting will take place in both the cases.
it can be preventingby either PAINTING,GREASING,OR GALVANISATION,i.e.coating it with zincor by making its ALLOY.

There needs to be water AND oxygen for rust to occur. Pure speculation but I'm guessing the one in the normal water will rust more than that in the boiled water

Prevent rusting by making sure the metal is not exposed to water (ie by painting it or galvanising it in the case of nails)

See this article for some info on rust and preventing it. Click highlighted words for more info. Rust is formed by oxidization of iron, when it reacts with the disolved oxygen in the water. You need to find some info on whether boiling the water reduces the amount of disolved oxygen in the water, leading to less rust.
