he's concerned! he's feeling self-conscious probably, and he wants to know why did you react the way you did, in order to be sure that it isn't something that he had done gone wrong. why would he behave that way..? an interest in you maybe. :P

No offence but if you give someone a weird look it should mean you don't think much of them. If you were trying to flirt it may be kind of like you were playing mind games which is not good. Don't play games because if you do you may lose him to that other girl. If you like him just tell him.

Honestly this could mean ANYTHING, or it could mean NOTHING. Maybe you really did give him a weird look for a second, maybe he was hinting at something like you were flirting, maybe he was just making conversion or wanted to see your reaction. It's impossible to tell.
