It is just a novel.
That said; I do agree with the first few insights about energy.
then about half way; the insights are nonsence.
My spiritual truths look nothing like the spiritual truths of my parents or guardians.
Read it and enjoy it. If you find something useful; take that part and ignore the rest.

I have read the book and it is extremely well written. It makes you think of the possiblities. It changed the way I go about a few things in my life.
There are a couple of books he wrote that im aware of called "the tenth insight", "The Shambhalah" and "The Celestine vision". Ive yet to read the last 2 i mentioned.

I read that series of books several years ago, and they are excellent. There are many really great New Age spiritual books in the world, and that series is just one of them. I don't "follow" anything the way people usually mean when they say follow. I don't try to live by any particular book or series of books. I read them, and if I like what I am reading, and it rings true for me, I learn from it. Then, later...maybe years later...when I feel moved to, I will read it again, to refresh my memory. These kinds of books need to be read several times, because people tend to forget things after a while. The Celestine Prophesy series, is not meant to be followed the way many people follow a religion, and although it is written as a novel, it is also not meant to be treated as strictly a novel. It is meant for you to read it, and learn from it, and understand the truth behind the fiction, and using this truth as a guide to help you grow and evolve, by illustrating for you, what being evolved and enlightened really is.

tricky one, each of the nine insights has to be realised in turn which is not as easy as the book makes out, you could be looking at several years of practice. better to take it as a guide and use its principles whilst following a structured life path that you can genuinly commit to.
