Generally:
Back of your neck involved usually means TENSION. -- Hot bath should help.
Blurring vision means EYE STRAIN. -- Get offline, you goose!
Forehead between eyes, sides of nose, temples, and sometimes ears, (also sometimes back top molar teeth) SINUSITIS. -- See a doc. You may need antibiotics.
One side of your head, with sensitivity to light and loud noises is NORMAL MIGRAINE (though after a few hours, you will get secondary pain on the other side, and in the back of your neck). -- Talk to GP, as these headaches can last several days and be very disabling.
Very sharp, sudden pain should be taken seriously, as it could be an ANEYURISM (burst blood vessel) -- go to Casualty and insist on MRI, as these can occur suddenly, in young people, from blood-pressure spikes, if there's a thin place in a blood-vessel in your head.
Copious nosebleeds, especially if accompanied by sudden pain, loss of any motor function, tremors, etc, would indicate a STROKE.- Casualty. NOW.
If you are injured and have a blow to the head, whether or not you are told you have a CONCUSSION (bruised brain tissue), make sure they check, a few weeks later, for a SUBDURAL HAEMATOMA (blood-clot on the brain). -- You'll be sick enough that they'll check.
Some people get weird visual perceptions, or smells, prior to getting CLASSIC MIGRAINE. -- Same treatment as for any migraine. Tendency to migraine is hereditary.
Some odd things can cause headaches:
-Rotten molars
-Tooth-grinding while asleep (TMJ - TemporoMandibular Joint)
-Bad posture -- you'll feel that in your neck
-Ill-fitting shoes -- your back and neck
-Pillows that are too soft/hard (you need to experiment)
-Dehydration -- usually accompanied with nausea, it's very common!
-Caffeine-withdrawal -- causes blood-vessels in your brain to expand
-Hormones -- many women have a headache about a week before their periods
Hope that helps, luv!
Happy New Year.

Sometimes I have a "regular" sharp headache on my forehead or temple, when I don't eat or start dehydrating. I eat or drink and the headache is gone. Sometimes I get a headache that throbs and is behind my eyes. It is a migrane. I might even become nauseous, feel like vomiting and noise and light are unbearable. I also get grumpy. It hurts like heck!! Certain foods like chocolate or stress can trigger migranes in me. On these I put a washcloth dipped in cool water over my eyes and then I lay in a dark quiet room for a while. A few hours later I may feel better or I may not. If I don't, I just keep laying there. Sometimes I get a headache behind the head due to fatigue or lack of sleep. On these I might tilt my head back and it feels a bit better. If none of my techniques, eating, drinking, cold compresses and head tilting work then I pop a few pills and hope for the best.

If I were you I would have it checked out, I know when I look at a computer screen too long I get the same type of headache you are describing. I went to my eye doc and was told it is a migraine in the back of the eye caused by strain. I know this may sound weird, but I have found the best cure is a couple of Midol and rubbing a small amount of peppermint oil on my temple. works wonders!
