Yes. She needs to work on building up her immune system. And, if she has a weak immune system (and it sounds like she does with her getting sick, frequently) she will continue to get sick more often, as you have said already, by being around children. As we all know, the immune system of children, depending on their age may not be fully functional as of yet, and they are more able to catch and spread different things, bugs around and to each other and others. I would recommend that your friend look into the "natural side" of health care to help build up her immunse system. Some places to start are listed in the link section, below. And, remember there are only two causes of diseases, Toxins and Parasites. In my opinion (and I am not a doctor) we all need to reduce our exposure to these two things, especially our Toxins, which are in our foods, our envirnoment, and things like cosmetics. I would highly recommend that your friend get a personal copy of the the book,"The Cure For All Diseases," by Dr. Hulda R. Clark, Ph.D.,N.D. Good Luck to you all, and Happy New Year........

She might want to have some immune studies done (blood test). If she does have some immune deficiency there are treatment for it which can help her to prevent frequent illness. Of course after becoming a teacher she has more exposure to infectious diseases. Believe it or not a lot of people who get sick a lot and suffer from frequent colds and flu like symptoms have clinical depression and don't really know it. I would recommend some immune tests be done first and then ask about depression. Keep in mind though that there is a difference between having clinical depression and being sad. A lot of people who have clinical depression are not sad at all.

Her immune system requirres support amd strenghtening. This can be done by seeing a naturopath in her area, as it not just vitamins, but also minerals. If she id deficient with certain minerals her body is unable to sustain the demand of making new white cells and replinish those lost, it would also affect her hormaonl household.

She would need to look at how many antibiotics she has been using, as every dose she takes, she is inadveratntly reducing her immunity as well. Though she will be getting better with use of antibiotics, her replenishment is still nil of active immune household.

Her current stress factor would lower her system as well. But all this a naturopath can advise her, and I do believe that orthodox medicine and alternative should and must go hand in hand.

You are free to email or chat with me for further advise, or she can if she so wishes.

Lots of vitamins and vitamin C. Some people are more prone to sickness. Being a teacher is a position that will cause this to happen more because of contact to all the sick children. Is she new to your area, this will also mean she gets sick more because she has to get adjusted to that areas bugs.

she need to see a doctor because there are alot of serious diseases that mimic the symptoms of the common cold or the flu, and also being a teacher you come in contact with so many different people and their germs
