All it truly means is that in any loving relationship, there has to be a "give and take" mentality. One person cannot be doing all the loving while the other one just 'takes' all the time.

It means that both people must participate. Both must be loving and nurturing. One cannot give and the other take all the time. It must flow back and forth like the traffic on a two way street does.

It means compromise. A two-way street goes in opposite directions, as many people in relationships do, so it means that's how things go sometimes, and compromise is needed.

Yes it means when you're having an affair, you have a 'two way street' to choose from.

i heard it means its mutual. lovers become lovers only because they met each other on the way (in the journey of life), and to meet one another, you can't be travelling on the same road cos it'll be parallel. so it has to be in roads of opposite direction. which is, eventually, a two-way street. does this help? hope it does! :)

I think the expression means that love is about give and take. If you find yourself only giving giving giving and not getting anything back you'll quickly tire of it and move on.

The expression means that love can be either good or bad.

Yes I have heard it.

It means that to truly love someone, they have to love you back.

It isn't love unless you are in some sort of relatonship (marriage, dating, parent/child).
