I do not have bags as such, just a dark purple colour under my eyes. what would be the best medications or methods to get rid of them?
I do get 8-10 hours of sleep every night so it cannot be lack of sleep.

I bet you've tried many things, have you tried eye packs? (Chamomile teabags are very good as eye packs. -Drop them in boiling water to wet them and use once cooled down.)

If it's like spider veins, they say vitamin K is good, (There are creams with Vitamin K)

.. and temporary, makeup, concealer? If you do it well it won't show.

But the best is to see a specialist, you'll gain time and money in the end.

Dark circles under the eyes can be caused by allergies/ poor diet. There are over-the-counter preparations in drug stores like Rite-Aid, or try Wal-Mart, or some can be bought through mail order. These are pretty expensive tho'. Use concealer to cover them until you can pick up one of these. I read that yellow-hued concealer works best.

All About Eyes, from Clinique offers pretty good cover up.

If it's really a problem, you can speak with a dermatologist, or plastic surgeon. They can give you a moderate peel to help remove some of the darkness, as well as give you other treatment options.

God luck, and God bless.

Unfortunetly it sounds like you have thin skin under the eyes, so there is no cure. All you can do is use concealer. Sorry hun.
