I assume you mean section 24250 of the California Vehicle Code. The bail (the amount the ticket costs if you don't go to court) in Los Angeles County is $35. With applicable penalty assessments, that is $123. I believe there is also an additional night court assessment of a few dollars. Other counties are probably in the same ball park.

You will get a form in the mail which will tell you the exact amount.

Depending where you live it could cost you $ 50.00 + court fees, 100 + fees or you just might get a slop on the wrist and be told to use your lights.

state/country/county? that must be a local code-in which case-it is listed inside the envelope that came with the ticket.
