Rahil or Rahel is a female Hebrew name which originated from "Rachel", Jacob's wife. It means "lamb or ewe".
From her Jacob got his two last sons: Joseph and Benjamin.
She was the younger sister of Leah who was given to Jacob in deception at his wedding, after working for 7 years. Jacob later had to work 7 more years to get the bride he wanted in the first place, and retained both of them as his wives.
Jacob deceived his father, Isaac. Later he was deceived by his father-in-law, Laban, and his sons. The lesson is, we must reap what we sow.
