It means They can never be PROVEN right, because in their reasoning, when they die, they have no afterlife, and can no longer think, breath, eat, sleep, drink, or anything else. They can't say to Christians, "see? i told you!", or to other atheists, "hey! (high five!) we knew it all the time, didn't we?"
BUT...
If they are proven wrong, look at the hell they'll go through. What will they say to God on their judgment day to spare them eternal torment?
If you look at creation, and everything around you, you'll see that a higher power made us. Some of us believe it's Jehovah, or Yahweh, from the Christian and Hebrew Bibles. Others believe Allah, from the Quran. Some others believe in Buddha, or The God that Sihk's believe in, or the God that Hindus believe in, etc. SOMETHING had to create us. We can't be so ignorant and non-believing to assume that it is all evolution. Question to all those people. HOW DO YOU KNOW GOD DOESN'T EXIST?!

In case God exists, my last words to God will be:
"Why didnt you give me the right reasoning to find you... Since you didnt give me that faculty, you have no right to punish me. And if you decide to punish me, you are an idiot and moron like me....."
Have a nice day

Something did create us. The proof is in the fact that every molecule is structured, every tiny piece of DNA--it's all organized. It has a design. It wasn't just thrown together. I see evidence of a Higher Power every time I listen to the leaves fall from the trees in the silence of an autumn night. I am not trying to figure it out, myself. Just enjoying every minute of it.
I don't believe that any god that may exist really would want us to "Burn in hell" for not knowing. I dunno, though. An awful lot of people follow the Bible, and it says ignorance won't be an excuse because we're supposed to spread the "good news". Who knows. I had a near death experience, it sure didn't look like hell. Sometimes I wonder if there is such a thing. I'm gonna go post that question. Is there a hell.

I always love the what if were right argument. Have you ever thought about what if your wrong? all the missed potential? Has religion not set science back thousands of years. What if just one of those people that religion has destroyed had the potential to discover where life really came from. What if one of those people that was beaten to death for being gay held the potential to unite the world in peace. You people believe in ultimate possibilities yet fail to see what is right in front of your faces & yet claim the oposite to be true. PS what have we got to lose? a whole lot of time to mention one thing

Well I haven't been able to prove the bible wrong yet and the people who have told me there is proof there is no god have brought up prove the doesn't prove anything like we have the same DNA as Fish.
Why Can't we all be made from the same Building blocks?
Or the man evolved from monkey stories.
So why aren't monkeys turning in man today?

Yes, I'm sure atheists totally just want to be able to "high-five each other and say, 'See, I told you so' to Christians". That is definitely their whole motivation for seeing things the way they see them. Just to spite Christians. Not a legitimate conclusion on their part after thinking about it. They just want to get the Christians and burn in hell, because it will be soooo worth it.
How far gone do you have to be to believe all the things that you just wrote?

First of all, god didnot create man. Instead, man has created god, so there is no question about the existance of god. Again, if god does and he has all those qualities which are said to be, then again, atheist are not going to hell because what they believed was due to ignorance and god forgives the ignorance. So atheists are not going to hell.

when people say that, it simply means that he doesn't exist. Pretty easy to understand. But to discuss it a little more...
The god of the bible has the same probablility of existing as any other god in any other holy book, current or ancient.
I see no evidence of there being a god, but if evidence were to present itself, then I would have to acknowledge his/her existance.
there is no way to prove that something doesn't exist.
To believe in any god, one must have faith. For those of us who see that faith is based on hope, emotions and tradition, not facts, faith is simply not an option.
I find it very humorous that a few of your answerers use only the bible as their source, to say that God exists. Using that logic, one could read the Qoran and say that Allah must exist because the book says so.

I'll see a higher power made us?
Prove it.
And I know because free will is a logical consequence of the existence of a deity. Free will does not exist, it is purely illusionary. Under the logical principle of modus tollens, this proves that no deity exists, not yours, not the muslims, not the jews, not the hindus, not the native americans, not the wiccans, not the pagans, no one's.
We were not created.

What have I got to lose? My self respect, my ability to think clearly, my freedom from the lies of a couple of ignorant goat-herders, etc.
And if you really read your Bible, you'll find out that Jesus was a fraud and there is no mention of a place of eternal torment except from Jesus. So your Bible is quite wrong.
I've read the Bible, cover to cover. I've taken 20 college level courses on it from Roman Catholic, Baptist, and Methodist view points. There is very little truth in it.

Every aspect of life tells us there is a higher power. I let everyone call it whatever they want. You make an excellent point.
