I have had many experiences from God, but now I chose to keep quite regarding them. I might tell people yes I have experienced God, but that is it these days. I know it is beyond an atheist. Have you had any atheist mock your experiences? Why do you think I keep mine all to myself, because I find it none of their business. So christians how often have you been mocked because of you faith, or any dreams or visions from God? I mean God can give you a warning dream to warn you of danger, and you listen to it, and that saves your life, and you go and tell atheist, and they think you are mad. Me myself I have had lots of things from God, which I will not mention on here. Maybe Christians you should only share your experiences with other christians and nobody else. Even be careful with other Christians. After I have told atheists and christians about my experience, all of them were shocked and believed me, and it made them all think about their destination. But now I keep quiet.

Yes alright, I spelt atheists wrong on the heading, so I do not need people getting back to me saying you did not spell It correctly . I do not use that word very much at all, because I use Christianity so much more. Not everybody can spell everything, so please do not pick on something so small(spelling).

Yes, I keep my dreams and visions from God secret because I don't want the non-believers become the sinners !!!

If an atheist chooses to mock you for sharing an experience with them, it can be quite disheartening. But, it shouldn't keep you from sharing your experiences with others because sharing our experiences can help to enlighten them. If someone goes to the trouble of mocking you over your shared experience instead of just ignoring it (which would take less effort), at least you have them thinking about the subject, which is a good first step toward helping them to see the truth.

I don't blame you. But You have to learn to worry less what others think of you. Much like myself, even if it means being laughed at or mocked. You do not know, that your experience may have an effect on just "one" person, even amongst all the noise and expected scoffing, put yourself on the line for that one person that will be quietly affected by what you have stated. You may never know who you have touched and what impact you've had on anybody. Most people do not say much, but walk away very thoughtful.

Ignore the noise and rumpus of the atheists, or others who laugh. if you allow those who shout the loudest to overwhelm you and have you believe they have the biggest say so, you'll not be aware of the quiet readers!

Think of Jesus and how He preached and how many scoffed at him, or walked away, laughed, spat or whatever. Why did Christ do this? Why bother? Because He came for those who had ears to listen, eyes to see.

We care too much how we feel and become insulted, offended and angry, but why should any of us expect to be treated any differently than Christ?

If you prefer to keep quiet, that is ok too. If it's something personal, private between you and God, and not something you wish to share, that's fine. But don't hold back because of those on here who mock. You are on a religious/spiritual forum, those who come on here with no faith are making themselves look rather stupid coming on a religious forum in the first place.

I too have had experiences and shared them, mostly with indifference, but the few who listened and were affected, were worth it all.

It's a hard road, it's bitter, but I say don't give up on their account. If they don't like it, or it's boring to them, or they don't believe why are they on here? One has to keep asking 'why???".

If you have had many things from God.... you are truly blessed, and athiest have no belief in Christianity whatsoever...i have had things shown to me, and God does work through me sometimes i know this, but i just accept it and also keep it to myself...... if people do not believe the things that are here on earth, then they will never believe all those things that come from heaven...i actually believe in Angels, and have had many experiences i cannot explain, i have found endless pure white feathers after the experiences.... and chose to keep my experiences to myself....people only want to believe what is tangiable, but just because we cannot see something dosent mean that it does not exist. Never change and never stop believing. Happy New Year

I will never keep quiet about what God does for me. Jesus was often mocked and was thought to be crazy by many, but it did not stop Him from doing what God had sent Him to do. God has told us that this life will not be easy and that some people will be against us, but He never said that we should be quiet about Him. No offense, but you sound as if you are ashamed of God. If God be for us, who can be against us?

Then, you are wrong......

We are told that we are the salt of the earth..... Do you know what this means......?

Salt was a valuable thing back in the new and old testaments... it was as valuable as Gold... and traded for myrhh and Frankincense.....

Salt was also a remedy for things in those days such as cleansing of wounds, for the curing of meats also......

How valuable can one be, if they cannot use the "gifts" or "talents" which are given them for purpose.... so just like the steward who buried his "talent" in the ground, it was wasted.....

Do not be like that......

For all purpose, use it well... No matter what it means.. Even if you rub some the wrong way.... Let them say what they will!!!... You will prosper by using your "talent"....... You don't know who you will offer a form of salvation......

But do well...... Let no one cause you fear.... Use it.....

*****I am a dream interpreter.... My "coin" or "talent" is to help others understand their dreams...... the means of which is to repent of what was done in a day so as to have it stricken from their "page" of life..... ((see the book of life))....... also.... (Job 33:14-24

The Bible speaks about this:
Jhn 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Jhn 14:17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

also:
Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
