Depends on the person and the situation. I really hate those fake hugs that people give you. I have a hard time with it because it is such a personal thing; you read so much from the other person IE mood, intentions, intellect etc..and when you are bombarded with that x 10 it can be taxing to your senses. But yes I love hugs and I give them often, I just try to read if the person wants one.

it depends on what the hug is all about, and from whom...if it's for or from someone i consider to be sincere, then i'm all for the hug. i counseled mentally ill ppl for years, some if whom wanted hugs just for a "free" grope...so, i've become very suspicious of certain types ppl.

Depends on who is doling out the hug; if its someone I feel warmly towards, yes, I like it. I prefer romantic hugs to friendly hugs.

It depends. I love to hug certain people, but you know those people that just cling and run to embrace you after you've known them for less than 3 days? Yeah, I don't like it when they hug me, and am therefore very unreceptive:)

no. to me, physical contact is a reflection of trust, and there are very few people whom i would give that honor too. unfortunately, because of this i sound like a social tard. oh well.
