If you want the best steak, here are some simple steps to follow on your path to culinary delight.
First, leave the U.S. The beef here is full of hormones designed to make the calf grow fast and therefore it is not of the best quality.
Second, it should be from a naturally grass fed cow.
Third, it should be cut from the loin of the animal with the bone still on it for extra flavor. Sometimes this cut is called the bone-in filet mignon.
Fourth, it should be aged properly.
Fifth, it should be flame seared at very high heat (800 degrees or so) so you get the char flavor on the outside and the juices sealed inside.
Finally, once you have found that perfect steak, DO NOT put A-1 on it, and make sure you have a truly fine wine with it, such as a 1982 Chateau Petrus, or you are missing out on half the experience.
Enjoy!

There are a couple of things to remember when ordering steak. As far as cuts of steak, filet is going to be the most tender as well as leanest, but all steaks will become tough the more you cook it. The best temperature to cook it to will be rare or medium rare. Ribeyes are also tender, but have a much higher fat content. It is the higher fat content that gives the ribeye a more intense flavor. You will also want to look for the quality of beef, usually denoted USDA prime or choice. Prime is a higher quality then choice. Aging beef will also make beef more tender. Look for steaks that have been aged, typically 28-31 days.

I can beat that, I remember when I turned 15 (i live in the uk so 16 isn't that big of deal) and all my friends forgot it was my birthday, I didn't say anything as I didn't want to appear rude. Then when I turned 17 this year I was the only person who out of all my friends to not get driving lessons, it makes you feel left out but at the end of the day I'll learn another time won't I? Same with you, be grateful for what you have, only thing is I don't think they should have got all that stuff for your brother and little for you, my family have always kept it the same for all of us every year apart from 18th and 21st. You shouldn't splash that much money when you're not overly rich, today's world it is uncertain of the future.
