I know He is real, by faith and by what my logic tells me. I believe the bible that gives me an accurate account of how the world came into existance (and by the way, many creation scientists were once evolutionists, often they came to faith in God, simply by what they saw under their own microscopes, basically the undeniable signature of intelligent design). So people like me without the qualifications of a scientist can say we're not alone and it's not a religion of the dumb-as.

I know He's real also, not just by these things, but also my own heart. I have faith, He is real. that is my faith and not something I can prove to others, only to myself.

The rest is logic to me and putting the bible to the test in the world around me. Makes more sense than anything these days, or any new age concept that comes out and continues to roll out from some other new age guru that does not mean a thing.

Anybody can tell me God does not exist, and it does not impact me at all. I already know He does. And wish the same for others.

The stories in the Bible are for morality purposes. Some of them may be true, but most are meant as a guide on how to live your life.

Believing in God is a faith issue at the very center. It also comes from a fear of the unknown.

I believe in God, wholeheartedly.

The reason I believe he exists, is simply, how are we here without his hand? I believe in science, evolution etc. But at the very, very center of this is the fact that, something created the universe that we cannot account for.

Humans barley understand their surroundings in space and the solar system. Atheists state that there is not enough proof, but we as humans have no proof on very much at all. In space, where is dark matter, how did it get there, black holes, where do they go etc. We cannot even find a cure for AIDS, a disease, who are we then to speculate on how the heavens formed.

It is for this reason that I belive, there are too many things we do not understand. What caused the big bang, there was nothing and then suddenly sub atomic particles, building blocks. I belive it was God.

When I was a little boy, no older than six, I went to my uncle's little league game just outside of Kansas City where they live.

I had wandered off to the car to take a nap because I was tired and bored (I was a "brainy" kid that bored easily of repetitive, mindless things like sports, and extremely independant) and started playing around inside the car.

I got myself locked in a tiny compartment for spare tires in the trunk of a car. Don't ask how that happened. I know, I know, I said I was a brainy kid. But I'm entitled to one or two stupid decisions. That was one.

There was no release switch on the inside, no ventilation, the car was locked up tight and the windows up, and it was 90 degrees in the shade during a Missourri summer. No one would be coming for hours.

After a few minutes of sheer panic I began to pray.

Now I'm a Witch, born and raised. I'm not exactly the "praying" type, in the conventional sense of the word. But that day, that one day, I prayed.

I prayed with every breath I had, until darkness took me and I passed out from the heat and the lack of oxygen.

My mother, who was in the stands at the stadium, heard a literal, audible VOICE in her right ear that told her with no small amount of urgency to go quickly and check on me. "NOW!" it said.

She ran to the car and looked inside, I couldnt be found. She was about to jump to the conclusion that I had been kidnapped when it struck her suddenly to look in the trunk, and then in the tire well.

I was unconscious when I was pulled out, my lips were blue and my body temperature had spiked to the point where I should have been dead.

I still don't know if "God" in the Christian sense is up there in the sky some where.

But powerful things that we can't comprehend are watching over us. My existance is proof.

Saying there it no God makes no sense. The whole world speaks of his Creation. I believe that GOD created everything there is, and without him, life it self would not exist. What evidence they had found to prove that there is no God? The sun, the moon, the stars, the oceans, the sand, each unique snowflake, the three billion pieces of your DNA that are different from mine, are absolute proof that there had to be a Creator of this universe. When you see a beautiful painting, do you think the painter painted it? Or do you think the brush painted it? Of course we know that the painter painted it, but we also know that the painter used the brush. In the same way, you can see that God in claiming authorship of his creation. Everything that you see on this earth was done by his word, including man kind. You & Me. http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0005/0005_01.asp

I agree with trulylatino that how I think as well.
And I haven't been able to prove the bible wrong yet and the people who have told me there is proof there is no god have brought up prove the doesn't prove anything like we have the same DNA as Fish.
Why Can't we all be made from the same Building blocks?

Or the man evolved from monkey stories.
So why aren't monkeys turning in man today?

I do not belive in a god who created a world where there is so much of injustice, inequalities, untold suffering, never ending struggle, discrimination and ofcourse all good things like beauty, goodness, love etc.
If I have to believe in God I must also get the answer who created him and why did he create human being.

there is no telling if he is real or not, I guess Christians or whatever religion just have "faith" that he is real, To me Christianity is just a tool to help people live their life good and if they live it nice and honest they will be rewarded, vise versa. I like the whole idea behind it but I do not believe in something that nobody has proof off

I've seen entirely too many miracles to not believe. Just studying the human body and how everything works is enough to believe that there HAS to be an infinite higher power.

The bible says that if you die an unbeliever, you are without excuse. Sounds about right to me.

I'm atheist- Only because I really haven't heard of any good enough reasons to be a part of any religion. I just can't believe the stories they preach. I agree with the teachings of church as far as being a good person, and I think that religion is good for some people and it brings them closer and makes them a better person with certain hopes for things.....but I enjoy not having a religion.....

I am deploying soon to a dangerous place, so maybe I'll take up praying when I'm being shot at (they say "no one in a fox hole is atheist")
