I'm completely in agreement with you on that.

What baffles me is the sheer number of atheists who obviously spend all their time combing through this category looking for pots to stir. It's kind of sad really.

Mostly it's because they think they're being clever, ironically enough.

I do agree with you, we can not deny that god is not real, who else created us, and if we evolved, who created what we evolved from, and so on.

One thing, I think a lot of people are confused about, is that they cannot see god, because god is not a physical being, but an energy being, and he is everywhere. We cannot touch god, because we are a part of god, just like everything, and everyone else.

I believe god (the whole) has a plan for eternity and if you are denying or rejecting this, you are denying and rejecting yourself.

In whatever religion you decide to be, you must admit a lot of life s important matters are based upon science, and not only science, but common sense will tell you we had to come from somewhere, and I have a hard time believing we came from "stardust"

I think, everyone should be able to believe whatever they want, and whoever, and whatever you think god is, that is fine, but to completely ignore the fact that you had to be created from somewhere, is ignoring not only common sense, but your own self. Because if these type of people thought deep enough they would realize we all came from somewhere. GOD.

I am not placing judgment upon anyone, and if I offended anyone, I honestly apologize.

I hope I helped, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

How do you know there will be a judgment day? Has a supreme being made a personal visit? Was he on pay-per-view? Has there been anything in our physical world that can be substantiated by any methods, means, or technology at our disposal?

Why is it that 2000 years ago, people supposedly got to see a
b!tchin’ miracle or two, but since then there has not been squat?

And the big question: why would any supreme being let themselves be represented by idiot scum like Falwell, Robertson, Baker, etc. and let a cretin like George Bush lay the blame on him for starting an immoral and illegal war that will ultimately result in the murder of hundreds of thousands to millions of innocent people.

I don’t claim anything close to being all-knowing, but I do know that if the people in the Falwell-Robertson conservative Christian gang are testifying for anything, it is the supreme ignorance of whatever retarded god reigns in ‘Stupid Heaven’ – and for all good and decent people, that heaven would be pure hell.

If he is real, and if he only lets believers into Heaven -- then he must send good people who are nonbelievers to Hell. Only someone truly evil would do that. I refuse to worship a God who uses the same criteria for sending people to Hell that Hitler used for sending people to Auchwitz.

So, there are three possibilities:

1. There is no God.

2. There is a God -- but he will accept all good people even if they are nonbelievers.

3. There is an evil God who will only accept believers.

If #1 or #2 are the truth -- then there is no reason why I should believe.

If #3 is the truth (as you seem to think it is) -- then I refuse to worship a God who is evil, and will accept his punishment because rejecting evil is the right thing to do.

As for you -- it looks like you have already judged us. And you remember what Jesus said about judging others . . . .

God is the creation of ancient man. The same people who thought that the Earth was flat. Doesn't God realize that if he would only show up, he would convert millions of Atheists?

Well because when you ask why people believe he is real the answer most of them will give you is faith. Blessed be.

Please...I am SO tired of you self-righteous christians telling us where we'll "definitely" end up going if we do certain things. I have my own version of Hell, alright? It's filled with sunshine, 24 hour bars and singing friggin' birds on top of palm trees...you want to be fearful of a hell that others tell you exists, go for it...I'll be happy where I'M going after this life is done.

What scares me is that christians come to a category called religion & spirtuality and expect to only find other christians. What happened to freedom of religion?
