dont mention your ex girlfriends unless they ask about them, some girls get angry with guys for raving on about their exes so only tell them if they ask

Hi Aznfreekster, it depends if your conversation is continuous about your ex or not. It's really not a good idea to bring her up until after you've spent some time with your new friend. Let her ask you. But I know, sometimes you just can't help it and the ex was a big part of your life and in conversation, the name just comes up as an example of a situation that happened and then you remember not to say anything and all of a sudden your saying the ex's name more than another time. It's weird.
Some might get hurt though and feel like your still thinking of her. Some might find it fun to talk about the past.
So Aznfreekster, it depends on if you think she'd be cool with it you know.
Well, have fun getting to know her. Happy New Year

When you first get to know someone it's normal to be curious about each other's past. I wanted to know about my wife's past a little bit, just because I was curious what made her who she is. It was also good for me to hear about mistakes others made; I didn't want to make the some ones! As long as someone isn't romanticizing and comparing or going on excessively about an ex it should be ok. If someone is so jealous that they flip out over a couple of references to an ex then they might have a problem.

Yes because it'll show the person you love now that you have no feelings towards those other woman anymore, because keeping them a secret will show that you are hiding something about them. They always find out about or Exes, i promise you they do!

I agree with this, just make sure your conversation about exs dont involve anything sexual, or how much fun you to had together at a event or whatever haha, mainly make it seem like your current boyfriend or girlfriend is better

How long have you known her ? Do you know her character well meaning does she mind when you talk about the past relationship whether she gets upset or jealous about your past.

Sometime telling the truth is good but sometime it creates more problems to explain. So I suggest whether she is really open minded person then it should be fine to share and it also helps in terms of your relationship but if she is jealous type then don't bother.

Good luck

yes, but it has to be done carefully. dont describe any sexualy expereinces or expereinces that your ex made you feel like you were "on top of the world" or something. just mentioning them is part of normal conversation, and intentially avoiding this from your current partner can be seen as immature and he/she could get the feeling that you still have feeling for your ex.

Yes, I'm currently victim to one who talks about their ex

He told a story the other day about how he became friends with someone because he told some kid to keep his hands off his woman.

& I was like TURN__OFF.

It's not good, unless you're on the subject of exes.
