I can't answer your question, but have another one in response to some of the other answers here. Why is it that the religious types always get on their high horse and make accusations against people who ask questions like this?

You asked a question requesting a word, you did not make an anti-god statement, but some of the reactions almost personfy you as the anti-christ when you could be a staunch believer!!!

No such term because God is still here & in charge.

Check out this verse from the bible

Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. [16] For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. [17] He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

If God lets go, everything will fall apart. i.e. all sub atomic forces , gravity, electromagnetic force, etc..

IF God doesn't care will he do this

[8] But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

He is holding back his wrath against all unrighteousness so that many may be saved.

Sad, because it's not necessary. There's plenty evidence that God is working miracles of grace every day, every second. For those with eyes to see, he is the most caring creator possible, working out his purpose to bring the whole of creation back into harmony. That means dealing with our rebellion (sin) against him. He would be fully entitled to walk off and leave us to the mess we've got ourselves into, but the miracle of his grace is that he's done all that is necessary to save us (in Christ) and he asks us to believe that is so. Why don't you ask God to reveal himself to you? Or, if you've already done that but nothing seemed to happen, ask again, sincerely, without preconcieved notions of how you 'ought' to be convinced? May God bless you.

That would be a person who has not read the entire Bible and obviously doesn't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This type of person knows from the evidence of creation that a Creator God is necessary and isthe only logical answer. Yet this same person looks at the world around which is filled with the evidence of sin and believes God "butted out". This type of person needs to read the entire Bible -especially Genesis, Job and the Gospels.

I think that would make you a Deist. If I'm correct, they believe God exists but is completely detached in every way from his creation.
