Does mankind follow the principles of god i.e. love not lust & all the good things & if not what is the purpose of worshipping or loving god or god's principles?

everything is God lust and love both are the form of God . krisna said in geeta i am all. nothing can happen without his wish.
it is you what do you want the heaven form of God or the Hell form of God.it depends upon your karmas lust or love . God does not have any problem.HE CAN EXIST IN ANY FORM.

Obviously, mankind doesn't follow those principles, but it is only an assumption that the principles you cite have anything to do with god, or that god even exists. Hence, worshipping or loving god is fatuous.

Well i would say people that believe in God try to follow God's laws but of course can not fully be success full. Because we are sinners and need Jesus to forgive our sins so we can reach the Kingdom Of Heaven. The point of following God's laws is to try to live your life like Jesus, and eventually reach eternal happiness in Heaven with God.

Man fails to uphold his -OWN principles . Rule of law is a product of human mind. but the breach is made by some who have been in exalted ranks to protect it.
All things said ,exception is designed in to the functionality areas , in order to emphasize the contrast between opposites and eestablish the supremacy of rules.

we interpret the principles given in the holy books the way it suits us......we console ourselves by saying that what we think and do is written in the scriptures while the other person is doing wrong....it is true for everyone no exceptions.......therefore none of us are following the scriptures as they are written.....we are all making some modification here and there to suit ourselves

First let me say that no one person is perfect! Yes Christian's do try to follow the Bible and his word.....They will make mistakes in their life but they have a God that is There to forgive them and to lead them............
