Adam & Eve disobeyed and then had the nerve to question God AFTER He commanded them not to go near the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the first place. Peace.

The first sin was the serpent. He should have never left his place and tempted adam and eve. But he wanted the power for himself, thus trying to lure adam and eve by telling them they could be just like God. Which is what Satan (the serpent) wanted for himself.
