So I've been talking to this guy for nearly five months now. He's amazing, says all the right things, is good looking, intellectual.... We've gone on a few dates and what not, and talked every day..
ONE PROBLEM: He dates... a lot. More than one person. We've both decided that we really would like to pursue a relationship. And since neither of us drive yet, it's hard to see eachother. And I can't drive for another three months. So we've decided to wait until then. But he's not going to stop dating in between, and I really really don't want him to.. He says he does it to "fill a void". But I don't think it's fair that I'm patiently waiting. I really don't know what to do. He is everything I've ever wanted. But I just don't know, my friends are biased so I really can't get straightforward info. I needed an objective 3rd party, please help.

PS.
I am sorry for the terrible sentence structure :)

PSS.
Be serious when you answer, please.

To clarify:
he does actually do nice things for me. And I'm not just some stupid girl who falls, I'm actually more the realist who doesn't take her advice who helps everyone but herself, so don't say I'm an ignorant teen.

Move on. If he's with a woman that much then he had problems that are deeper than most people are ready to handle. The void that he says that it fills - if he dates that much, then the void is just that he most likely wants attention. My ex -boyfriend was that way...and I noticed it a bit late...(almost 2 1/2 years =\ ) Dont let that happen to you. Just move on - you can still be friends, I mean sure why not? Just dont get emotionally envolved, because youll prolly get hurt.

I know this isnt what you prolly wanted to hear - but its true - Hope I helped =)

I agree with what the others are saying. First you are young yet, you have plenty of men to meet. But remember one thing about this one, his honesty. You will meet men, that date around and don't tell you about it.

So keep going out and having fun, and keep in touch with this guy, and just see what months down the road leads to.

Take it easy in 2007 :)

If you're not old enough to drive yet, then you have dozens and dozens of guys you are gonna be interested in in the next 10 years or so, so don't burden yourself w/ a guy you probably won't remember in a few years.

Well, Seriously he's probably having lots of sex but I think its kinda stupid if you didnt see him cause of that. maybe hes tryin to play you. and your not giving out so he just makes up that excuse. but if thats wrong then do go out with him.

find someone new.
if he really wanted to continue the relationship he has with you and really wanted to make things more serious he wouldnt be dating, he'd just be talking and dating you.

Although he isn't obligated to 'not date', it is still giving the message that he doesn't want to settle with you now.
This is your decision if you want to keep dating him or not.
