I would keep the nature of God and keep on loving everybody.

Create a world full of pain, destruction along with extreme beauty, and a few flickers of hope here and there. Then add in a creature that'll believe it is superior to all others. Whisper into a few of their ears to start up some worship. Maybe disguise myself and give myself different names. I wonder if they will figure out that all those names refer to just me? Ah, maybe a few but most won't believe it and will argue amongst themselves who is correct. I'l throw in some miracles once in a while, but mostly I'll sit back and be entertained.

Make food drop out of the sky in Africa, stop global warming, stop all the wars in the world, make a cure for AIDS, make a cure for cancer. Detroy every Bible and Quran in the world. Write a new holy book that brings peace instead of war into the world.

Mess with people a bit, probably.
Reverse gravity at random, Change people's skin color periodically (thus eliminating, like, 90% of racism in the world), breed pirhanna with flying fish so they jump out of rivers to come at you, etc

I would take alcohol off the shelves because it kills so many people and make weed legal and the only source of happiness would be love.
