Do you mean night terrors or nightmares? My daughter used to have night terrors. She'd wake up screaming and I couldn't wake her up. She'd have no memory of the event the next day. When she had nightmares, she'd be scared, be able to tell me what she dreamed, and she'd remember what happened the next day. For night terrors my doctor said to wake her up after she goes to sleep, right before you would expect her to have the episode. This changes the sleep cycle and eventually gets them out of the pattern they're in. For my daughter, I found she usually had the episodes when she had to go to the bathroom. So I'd take her to the toilet and then she'd usually go back to sleep. Some kids are thirsty or have some other physical need, but they're in a deep sleep and can't respond to it. I'd talk to your doctor though especially if your dh is violent.

It would be normal for your daughter as many kids her age get them..you husband needs to see a Dr. that is a sleep specialist, maybe this is something rare and can be passed onto your daughter..finding a cure for him may also help her.

1. This could be Dimentia or a form of acute skitsophrenzia. How ever you say it.
2. Get them both to a psychiatrist.
3.See a family health history, it could be something genetic. That would explain why your daughter gets them too.

Your husband needs the Lord Jesus and your family does. Trust in the Lord delivers from fear because God is strong and he is able to keep us. I used to have bad nightmares but I started praying every night before going to bed and then they went away. The worst dreams would be when a demon would come to attack me because if I dreamed about people I could fight them but when a demon came this scared me in my dream. But I never was terrified when I awoke and even in the worst dream there was a part of me that was not moved in my heart and I would call out to the Lord and he would strengthen me and deliver me from fear. One thing I have learned in my life is that the devil is very real and is a bully and want to make people live in the shadow of fear of things like this. He can attack our minds and wants to destroy us. Please check out this site:

take him to psychologist to find out what happen. It might be something going on during his childhood. For your daughter she probably born with it or it can be genetic.
