The purer the mind, the easier it is to control. Purity of mind must be insisted upon if you would control it. Perfect morality is the all in all of complete control over mind. The man who is perfectly moral has nothing more to do; he is free.

The control of the mind depends on its purity of mind. We are unable to control our mind because at present it is impure. If we live in our life which can makes the mind more inpure, and at the same time make assiduous efforts to control the mind, this will be futile. Again, if without doing anything regarding purification of the mind, we just go ahead to control our mind, we are not likely to succeed, except in the rare case when we start with a highly pure mind. What we need is system of discipline for controlling the mind which will also obliterate its impurities. http://www.spiritualcenter.blogspot.com/

Clueless, just fr*gg*n clueless. By what society would you determine morality? They vary by cultures. Also suseptible to smooth talking demagogs under the right conditions with the right approach. Just ask the victims of HITLER, or POL PHAT, or Well never mind, you can't ask those millions of victims, they were killed by those who were told that they had perfect minds and that purity of their minds, bodies, and souls depended on the removal of those not able to elevate to that level. Get rid of them so they don't bring you down.
I control my mind. If I didn't there would be substancially fewer nuts out for the gathering, and more stored away for the winter. Purity? More like an absence of emotion. As long as there is emotion there can't be purity in the manner you describe.
My question to you is: Do you recommend lobotomies to all the people some of the time, recommend lobotomies to some people all the time, or failing to heed the words of P.T. Barnum, do you try to offer lobotomy to all the people all the time?

This is ridiculous. No human mind can be pure in the way you describe because it is the sum of a billion years of survival of the fittest. Its the center of emotion and is subject to dozens of hormones from all over the body so there is no way it can be "pure". A pure mind will exist but it will be a machine intelligence and its is just around the corner.
