Ok, I admit, I am confused as anything when it comes to my guy. For one, he's nigerian, and the way they do things is a bit different. With him, I never know anything for sure but something inside of me knows he's real. I've known him for 10 years. 5 years of that I was married and then that dissipated into nothing. We got back together in June and didn't have sex until October. I've asked him if he loves me, but he kissed me and says time will tell. But he does things that make me think he does. For example, he makes sure I have a full tank of gas every week. That he pays for. He keeps my favorite sode in his fridge and is always asking me if I'm hungry when I've been at his place for a few hours. And two days ago he somewhat revealed himself in the emotional sense. He's not one to really display serious thoughts, but has no problem with affection or the bedroom. He keeps what he's really thinking hidden. The question is this. He's divorced twice, the first time he

initiated and the second time she did. The second time I know for a fact wasn't his fault because I know the woman and she is extremely irrational, if not neurotic. So as you can tell, he has difficulty expressing emotions. He told me, after all of this time, that I am the only one he really wanted to kiss and enjoyed kissing. That before he didn't really kiss, not even when he was married. That could have fooled me because he's always finding a way to kiss me. Is this his way of opening up or what?

Another thing is, he absolutely loves my body and makes me feel good about it. He is always telling me to go without my towel (after shower) or to let him watch me undress. I don't understand it, because I think my body is ugly. I am not a fat slob or anything like that, but I have had two children (lost all weight and more with each of them) and I have the ugly little section scar to prove it. He keeps thinking that he's going to hurt it or something. Why in the world does he like this ugly body????

he cares for you. it may not be love yet...but since he has been married and divorced twice he is probably gun shy now and doesn't want to jump into anything. i don't blame him. take it slow. and enjoy the attention and caring thought that he gives you. i bet that before long you both will be committed to one another in some way.
enjoy the ride and try not to over-think it.

Sounds to me like he really, really, likes you!!! He also sounds like someone everygirl wants. What a gentleman he is. But some guys are analytical on making any decisions especially when it comes to decisions about a lady.
I have a friend, also nigerian, he dates someone for 6 months, if things don't develop within that time frame, he moves on. He remains friends iwth the person and nobody gets hurt.
You know the saying ' why ruin a friendship when you know a relationship won't work out.
Have a great 2007!!!!

He is Nigerian and what are you? YOU didn't say, might be a difference. That is the way he was taught how to treat women. If.. he loves you, make him show it somehow.
