You know what, I see today that many people hate Islam so much that they would despise, slander and speak anything out of their foul dirty mouths. Look at the media how they potrayed Islam as a very blood thirsty and voilent religion.

When I came to think back, wait a second. Didn't Bush said that America is on a crusade ?? Do you think that the main reason why the media potrayed our religion as voilent religion is actually a propaganda and also a type of psychological warfare to make us muslims as self-haters and make other non-muslim hate us ??

When I look back at history, i can see the similarity of how Hitler of Germany potrayed the Jews as evil people who wants to control the world. Isn't the media is copying the same technic or psychological warfare that hitler used to launched against the jews on us ???

remember, during world war 2, there are a lot of jews ending up becoming self haters. Same with the muslims in this era on the war on terror

Each time an islamic terrorist does something horrible in the name of Islam, get all moderate muslims to protest openly and loudly in the streets. Each time an Islamic theocracy in the middle east marginalizes women's and other human rights, protest. And -- best of all -- never ever have the moderate muslims play victim and wonder why there's a negative perception of Islam from the west. Instead, accept responsibility and take action against the terrorists and theocracies.

Your religion has made a name for it's self and you have to deal with that, just the same as catholics are associated with corruption and it is shown in the media. You don't see any other religion going out of their way to prove their point by blowing themselves up in heavily populated areas do you? Look at how Muslim women are treated. I'm not Muslim but have great respect for your religion. I have never heard a non-Muslim ever say anything negative about Islam. I have no doubt the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful, law abiding citizens. Don't let the stupidity of a tiny minority of non-Muslims who do bad mouth Islam give you the impression all non-Muslims feel that way. It's true, a British historian once said, you can't defeat the Muslims on the battlefield, you can defeat them by distancing them away for the Qur'an.
