Worldwide MS is recognized as Master of Science (as you guessed). Our BSc or any other Bachelor Degree are considered as only pre - graduation all over the world especially in US. MS only accepated as real garduation.
MS can be done in any branches provided you have the under graduation certificaite like BE, AMIE, BSc (Maths) etc

There are many under these three major fields:
School Business and Economics

it is Master in Science, Master in Surgery[medical]... it is just as masters degree in india such as M.Sc. etc. basically this term is used in usa aus and Europe... and done aftr completing the graduation degree... there r some entrance testes such are GRE , TOEFL, IELTS etc.. for this.
