First of all bronchitis can be brought on by many things...smoking can be one cause...allergies another....
Not smoking would probably help you not to develop chronic bronchitis though
Some people are just prone to having this though just hope this is a one time case for you though....good luck

NO... why would you want to hurt the lining of your lungs further?... bronchitis might have left little tears or scars in your lungs that just hasnt healed yet.. and you go and smoke on top of it... Cancers around the corner if you do this...
Maybe this was Gods way of waking you up to stop smoking... Please, Please dont smoke again.. I watched a loved one for 12months waste away with lung cancer and its not a pretty thing to go through...

If you keep smoking you are going to continue to damage to you lungs and eventually you may wind up with emphysema and later on COPD. If you have never seen an end stage COPD patient starved for air even though they have oxygen on and have used all the breathing treatments they can try talking to someone who has it. It is not a pretty site to see them starving for air and getting more and more anxious because they fell like they are suffocating even though they are getting oxygen. Use this as your cue to quit smoking to help prevent further damage to your lungs and bronchi.
